1. Who we are

SEO On Stage is a conference series organised by Black Lantern s.r.o. ("we", "us"), a company registered in Prague, Czech Republic. We operate the website seo-on-stage.com. For anything related to your personal data, contact us at seo-on-stage@black-lantern.com.

2. What data we collect

• Forms on this site — when you register interest, reserve a sponsorship tier, or contact us, we collect the details you submit: name, email address, company, your edition/package selections, and any message you include.
• Ticket purchases — tickets are sold through Eventbrite. Payment details are processed by Eventbrite and its payment providers, not by us. We receive attendee information (such as name and email) needed to run the event.
• Correspondence — emails you send us.
• Event photography & video — our events are professionally photographed and filmed (see section 6).

3. How we use your data

• To organise and deliver the events, including attendee management, badges, and communication about your ticket or sponsorship.
• To respond to your enquiries.
• To send you updates about SEO On Stage editions where you have registered interest or otherwise consented; you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To produce and publish event media — recap films, photography, podcast and vidcast episodes.

4. Legal bases

We process your data on the basis of: performance of a contract (delivering your ticket or sponsorship), legitimate interest (running and promoting a professional event), and consent (marketing communications), in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

5. Who we share data with

• Netlify — hosts this website and stores form submissions.
• Eventbrite — processes ticket sales under its own privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site.
• Media platforms — event recordings are published on channels such as YouTube, Spotify, and LinkedIn.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Photography & filming at events

SEO On Stage events are professionally photographed and filmed, and the resulting material (which may include your image or voice as an attendee) is used in recap films, highlight reels, social media, and the SEO On Stage Podcast & Vidcast. By attending, you acknowledge this recording takes place. If you have concerns about a specific image featuring you, contact us and we will review it.

7. Retention

We keep form submissions and attendee data for as long as needed to run the event series and meet legal (e.g. accounting) obligations, after which it is deleted. Published event media remains online as part of the historical record of the events.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; object to or restrict processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. Write to seo-on-stage@black-lantern.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz) or your local supervisory authority.

We may update this policy as the event series evolves; the current version will always be published on this page with its date.
